I have been made aware of a consultation which is taking place regarding Firstbus services in West Wales. I was led to believe that this was in the interest of passengers in terms of reliability and the securing of services in the area. My request for information is as follows: 1) Was it part of Pembrokeshire County Councils aims of taking control of services to be able to manipulate and set the agenda. 2) By the reduction of services in the area, it is argued that it would make the timetable more manageable. Statistically, how much difference will it make and what evidence can be provided to support the argument. 3) How much money are the council likely to save through the reduction of services??
