Eviction Process
I understand that when a tenant who is needing to find somewhere to live, and approaches PCC for help, the advice from PCC when the tenant comes to the end of their 6 month notice period, is to stay at the property, even though the Registered Social Landlord (RSL) has carried out the correct process and completed the correct papers; 1. How many RSL have been put in this situation in 2023? 2. How many RSL have been put in this situation in 2024? I understand that during the six month notice period, PCC will liaise with the RSL. 1. How many RSL have PCC liaised with in 2023? 2. How many RSL have PCC liaised with in 2024? What has been the costs to PCC/Path to cover court fees etc, to reimburse RSL who have had to go for a possession order, in order for the tenant to leave the property? 1. costs in 2023? 2. costs in 2024? How many RSL have had to resort to using bailiffs in order to evict their tenants. 1. in 2023 2. in 2024 What were these cost to PCC/Path if any evictions resorted to using the bailiffs? 1. in 2023 2. in 2024
