Council Tax Premium Information
We are writing to request the disclosure of additional information by PCC to support an informed response to the ongoing Council Tax Premium Consultation 2025. 1. Discussions in respect of setting the levels of Council Tax Premium at the meeting on 17 October 2024 identified concerns about the impact on the tourism, hospitality, retail and other sectors of the Pembrokeshire economy. We request a copy of all information made available to councillors ahead of the decision on the level of Council Tax Premium for 2025/2026. 2. If not included at 1., we request a copy of the Council Tax Premium impact assessment (or other studies commissioned) for 2025/2026. In particular, the impact of changing the level of council tax premium on those sectors identified in 1. above. 3. A copy of the Council Tax Premium impact assessment (or other studies commissioned) for 2026/2027. Again, we are interested in the impact of changing the level of premium on those sectors identified in 1. above. 4. What information is proposed to be provided to councillors to inform their decision on the level of Council Tax Premium for 2026/2027. We trust that you will abide by the provisions of the FOI Act (2000) which require a timely response to this request.
