Alternative Provision Spending (KS3 & KS4)
I am making this request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. I would be grateful if you could please provide the following information: For the last full academic year (2024/25): 1. The total amount spent by Pembrokeshire County Council on Education Other Than At School (EOTAS) and/or alternative provision, and a breakdown of how this was allocated (e.g. tuition, PRU placements, independent providers, online tuition, etc.). 2. The number of pupils in Key Stage 3 (KS3) who were placed in alternative provision, and the total and average spend per pupil. 3. The number of pupils in Key Stage 4 (KS4) who were placed in alternative provision, and the total and average spend per pupil. 4. The total number of children registered as having Additional Learning Needs (ALN) within the authority, and the total cost of provision for these children (please provide the overall figure, not a website link). For the current academic year (2025/26): 5. The budgeted allocation for EOTAS/alternative provision. 6. Confirmation of whether the average per-pupil spend for KS3 and KS4 alternative provision has changed compared with 2024/25, and if so, what the average figure is for this academic year to date (or the budgeted figure if final spend is not yet available). Please provide all figures in electronic format (Excel or PDF). If you do not hold the information in the exact format requested, please provide the closest equivalent data that you do hold.
