Funding and Management of Housing and Homelessness Services
In terms of the reference to homelessness services and associated services, we mean: support across housing needs, provision of temporary accommodation and discharge of duties including prevention and the main housing duty. 1. Please provide the following data relating to housing and homelessness: a. The total number of households supported through homelessness services in most recent complete financial year b. The total number of households supported through homelessness services in the financial year before the last year. c. Total expenditure on homelessness and associated services in most recent complete financial year d. Total expenditure on homelessness and associated services in the financial year before the last year. e. Expenditure on homelessness and associated services in most recent complete financial year expressed as a percentage of the total council budget f. Total number of nights spent in temporary accommodation by those you have a prevention duty towards in most recent complete financial year g. Total number of nights spent in temporary accommodation by those you have a prevention duty towards in the financial year before the last year. 2. please provide i) the total number of households where your prevention duty ended with long-term accommodation secured from the following types of intervention for most recent complete financial year a. Temporary accommodation b. Rapid rehousing c. Supported housing schemes ii) the types of long term accommodation provided for these households. 3. The funding sources for homelessness services and the amount of funding per source for the most recent financial year (for example central government grants, local council tax, business rates, housing revenue account, rental income, capital receipts, private investment, charity/voluntary sector contributions). 4. a. The homelessness related spending in the most recent complete financial year b. The homelessness prevention spending in the most recent complete financial year 5. Please provide a list of active public private partnerships, joint ventures or similar arrangements through which the authority delivers housing or homelessness services. For each partnership please provide: i. Name of the private partner(s) (e.g. company or charity). ii. Date of commencement and duration of the contract or agreement. iii. Purpose and scope (e.g., management of temporary accommodation, development of affordable homes, regeneration project). iv. Funding structure - the proportion of budget provided by the authority versus the private partner
