Long-term residential / nursing care

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please answer in the attached Excel spreadsheet and return it with your reply. All questions relate to adults aged 18 to 64 funded by the Local Authority in long-term residential or nursing care. Could you answer the request for adults 18-64 for both EMI and PD? Information requested 1. Please supply the name, job title, telephone number and email address of the commissioner with responsibility for both EMI and PD placements for adults aged 18 to 64. 2. Please provide the total number of adults aged 18 to 64 funded by the Local Authority in long-term residential care, and separately in nursing care. Please give an end-of-year snapshot (at 31 March) for each of 2022/23, 2023/24, 2024/25 and 2025/26, and the most up-to-date figure available for 2026/27. 3. Please provide the number of new long-term placements made for adults aged 18 to 64 - residential and nursing separately. Please give the number during 2025/26 (year to 31 March 2026) and during 2026/27 to date. 4. Please provide the highest, lowest and average weekly rate paid for residential and nursing placements for adults aged 18 to 64 for 2025/26 and 2026/27. If you use weekly rate bands, please give these too. 5. Please provide a list of providers of residential and nursing care used by the Local Authority to place adults aged 18 to 64 in long-term care. For each provider, please give the setting (residential or nursing), the number of service users, and the gross expenditure, using the latest month available (or financial year 2025/26 if not), and state the month used. 6. Does the Local Authority consider there is sufficient residential and nursing provision to meet the needs of adults in the local authority area?
