Disabled Facilities Grant

Please can I access the following information under the Freedom of Information Act.  - How many applications have you received for Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs) in 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24 and so far in 2024/2025 - for each of the above (5) years, how many applications have been approved? -  for each of the above (5) years, in how many approved applications has the work now been completed? - Over the same time period, for each application that has been completed, can you break down the number of each level of intervention. I.e - how many small adaptations have been completed, how many medium adaptations and how many large adaptations? - Over the last five years, what is the longest time someone has waited for an assessment after an initial application for a DFG?  - Over the last five years, what is the average time someone has waited for an assessment after an initial application for a DFG?  - Over the last five years, what is the longest time someone has waited between a DFG assessment and the intervention work being completed?  - Over the last five years, what is the average wait time between a DFG assessment being completed and the work being completed?  - Over the last five years, how many people have been reassessed because their initial application lapsed due to delays to DFG work being carried out?   - Has your local authority removed or introduced or reinstated a means test for DFGs at any point in the last 5 years?             - if yes, what was this decision and when did this decision take effect? Please can you provide me with all written communication, including but not exclusive of emails, WhatsApp messages and reports, relating to any decision to remove, introduce or reinstate the means test for DFGs in the last five years if this is applicable.  CLARIFICATION Yes I can confirm I am requesting information on mandatory DFGs
