It took me some time to find the Public protection budget line in the 2024-25 services monitoring outturn report, Appendix A of the Cabinet report 7 July 2025. and can I say the "masked" detailed indivdual services, now combined under Public Protection- Environmental Health /Consumer Protection. I should be grateful if Under FoI rules you could let me have the service standard subjective analyses of I and E :in repect of each individual component service, that used to be presented for Cabinet and the public to see openly.. A Can you please also provide an indication as to whether each of these individual services are provided on a discretionary or Statutory basis? B. Could you please provide, where appropriate and relevant,references to the Guidelines on Charges that the officers use to operate and manage charged for services accounts? I have searched the Council's Constitution in vain for detailed references to Charged for service and/or Full cost recovery. I have found the duty to include the annual Inflationary uplift to charges in the general Financial Procedures and of course the general duties placed on officers to ensure Full cost rceovery, and for officers to restrict spending within approved budget limits. C. Can you please provide details of the specific authrorisations and rules officers use to manage these charged for Services and Accounts. E. What are the outstanding debts, of each service, and what arrangements are in place for their recovery please?
