Free or Discounted Parking for Councillors and Staff
I am hoping to discover across Wales if councillors / officers are having free or heavily discounted parking, while the public prices are increasing. I would like to request for the last three financial years where possible, split per year: - The number of councillors/elected members and officers who benefited from free or discounted car parking - For those receiving discounted parking, what the full and discounted rates were. - The number, if any, that have declined or pay full fees - If the passes are specific to a car park(s) I would like to request the locations and allocation split for carparks. - Are any free or discounted passes issued to non-councillor or non-council staff? If so, any details are welcome (eg. one location elsewhere issues one to a local vicar) I would also like to request any information on yearly public passes offered by the authority eg. Wrexham https://www.wrexham.gov.uk/service/parking/pay-parking or if there is not a public information page, the current rates offered. Finally, if there is a policy for use, guidance document for use (eg. councillors or staff have to be on council business to use the car park, only for use 8am-6pm) a copy or link would be wonderful.
