LSOA data from 2019
In FOI request 13401 I was provided with current 2023 data on the number of holidays lets per LSOA. The LSOA shapes change each census and thus in this case they were the LSOA boundaries from the 2021 census. For comparability, I am requesting data from 2019 that relates to the same 2021 LSOA boundaries. My aim is to illustrate how the proportion of holiday lets to total dwelling stock has changed between the pre- and post-covid periods. Therefore, while it is the same measure, this new request is asking for 2019 data on the number of dwellings and holiday lets per 2021 LSOA in Pembrokeshire County, with a series of alternative measures listed in order of preference, in the event that 2021 LSOA data is not available or cannot be estimated. Thus if measures per 2021 LSOA were not available, 2011 LSOAs would be the nearest comparable measure for illustrative purposes. The third request for 2021 data by community council is in regards to data collected from the Disclosure Log, which provided a 2021 measure of commercial holiday lets per community council area in Pembrokeshire. The 2021 Census data on dwelling stock does not yet provide a measure by Parish (Community) and thus in order to gain an up-to-date measure on the proportion of the dwelling stock that was made up on holiday lets in 2021 I also requested dwelling stock by Community for Pembrokeshire County.
