Empty properties
1. The number of empty properties of which you are aware in your local authority area. 2. The length of time the properties have been empty by reference to periods of over 6 months, one year, five years and ten years. 3. The number of empty properties in your local authority area where you are aware that they are empty as a consequence of the last occupier passing away. 4. The length of time that the properties described in para 3 above have been empty by reference to periods of over 6 months, one year, five years and ten years. 5. The number of notices served under Section 103 of the Law of Property Act 1925 or where any legal action has been taken under the Empty Homes legislation with reference to the periods of the last 6 months, last 12 months, five years and ten years. 6. The number of properties sold following the councils enforced sale procedure for empty properties for the last 6 months, last 12 months, five years and ten years. 7. The number of properties sold in the last 10 years by your local authority where you have been unable to trace a next of kin or beneficiary or other person with a legal entitlement to the proceeds of sale.
